No.
Good.
Yes there will be winds but lighter winds tomorrow than on the windiest day of the season, sorry you missed it, take your 12M or bigger to ensure a better chance at having enough wind. A floaty board will help. The wind will come up later than usual or yesterday, probably getting best at 4:35pm. There will be a few gusts to start and then it will back off a bit, likely near dark. The day parking will be somewhat full as will the first outhouse, I would opt for the middle section for more sun and a better parking spot. Best launch area on the beach is near you guessed it, the water, suggest just below the sauna. You may ask "is there anybody in there?" But the pebbles are just right. Watch your footing as you go in, it will be wet!....and slippery with the odd jellyfish floating about. The water temperature will be around 21 degrees. Salinity varies with tide, it's really anyone's guess.....not the tide that is, the salinity....btw the airshow doesn't really start at the lake until...well....at all :?
Wish less, sail more!!

annual air show at Nitinat

Post by Sandy Beach »

There was an epic 'airshow' while we were there August Long weekend after Windfest at sunset. The beautiful red airplane doing wild stunts....free falls and loops. It's been a few years since we've seen it, and it's always amazing to watch! Thank-you
Life is all about balance, and a dose of healthy wind addiction
