Old Kites

Post by blackdogvan »

What crafty projects could you think of for old kites? So far i'm thinking about making a 14m bronko based car camping awning, maybe some shopping bags... Any ideas?

I recently saw a couple of purses made from recycled kites. The wingtips made a cool looking flap.

KiteCycle.org has closed down but here's an article on them: http://www.thekiteboarder.com/2010/01/s ... old-kites/
they were making grocery shopping bags from old kites

What about for the inside of the Sauna at Nitinaht?

I'm pretty sure the inside of the sauna at Nitniaht is for cooking Salmon.

Send them down to mexico to roof some palapas, or keep them for a spring slip and slide. Or sell them to a friend that wants to learn to kite but never will... 300 bucks!
somebody said " go fly a kite".
