Anybody going to nitinat this weekend??

General discussions about the weather, incoming storms and swell, complaining, why is it always so windy at night etc.

Anybody going to nitinat this weekend??

Post by bwd »

Hey what's the plan for this weekend? We might get one day of wind up at Nitinat today before that front moves in. I 'might' head up there this morning, but I'm not too sure... It looks like the westerly in the Strait might not work today, but yesterday (and Thurs I heard) sure were sweet at Gordons.

What about the SE - I wonder if there will be enough at Columbia/north or enough of a southerly at Isl View??

We've elected to stick around town - might get a Formula session in somewhere locally, but I suspect its overcast at Nitinat - not raining, but not worth the drive...

You guys missed killer conditions at Comox goose spit this weekend. 3 guys from Vic made it up and put on a great show all afternoon evening. Comox will never be the same.
