Pistol River Wave Bash

Post by TrunkMonkey »

I'll be down the Oregon Coast June 15-19 hoping for wind and waves at Pistol. I'm not competing but would like to sail and watch. If the weather forecast blows, I mean sucks, I may go to where the wind is but Pistol is my preferred destination. I am down with a caravan but I am a lower mainland guy so probably a stranger to most!

Hey sounds good! What are the odds of watching the game? Are you camping or staying in a hotel?

Most of us if not all are (vehicle) camping....some competitors flying in are staying at the Beachcomber and other places....there are a couple of pretty lame bars and a decent pizza restaurants with bigger screens....to watch.....what?

Coast gonna start firing for the first round on Tuesday looks like

T-monkey,

We'll be down in the 'hood first starting on the 10th. We'll make our way down to PR around the 13th or 14th. We'll be in the subtle orange Xterra with too many boards stacked on the roof and with the viscious pitbull-border collie.
