How do I upload an avatar image from my desktop?

Try saving it to http://www.flickr.com/ ... Use the instructions to resize it (80 x 80 pixels max & 9 m.b.) click on 'share' & cut & paste the result ... Be patient it sometimes takes a few trys ... 8)
Thermals are good.
