pressure slope

Post by windsurf247 »

Hey Jimmy, any chance you might be able to give all of us "wind dummies" a brief explanation of what we should be looking for on the pressure slope. I read the EC book but I'm still not 100% clear on how it relates to forecasting wind for the immediate future (2-3hrs). Is it the intensity or the direction or both?? Perhaps you can use the current slope as a model.
Much thanks......from all I'm sure.
