Eagle cam

Post by JL »

mms://lastream001.galaxytelevision.net/hh001 This link works in daylight hours.Streaming video with sound of an eagle sitting (currently) on her nest. Windows media in 'mini' mode allows video to live in the task bar while you surf.

I clicked on it out of idle curiosity (my mother is a birder and it bores me uterly) but the big eagle is pretty cool - I was surprised at how close-up the shots are. Can't wait for the chickies and regurgitated fish!

BUt to the young poster/ if you don't think you'll like a link, why follow it? And why bother to post, especially anomysly? And if you like anything about this site, don't dump on Dave, without him it wouldn't exist! You can regain karma by donating some $ now!

Dave, time to implement the 'got to sign in to post' stuff!

I do kinda like the care-o-metre with pi on it, I'll have to steal that for professional association discussions!

A client told me about this web cam today. He opened by asking, "do you like eagles?" I thought and said of course I do, so he regaled me with the details. I think it's a cool thing to post esp during the doldrums. Windsurfers might just be a little more nature-oriented (uuum have you seen some of the photo gallery ... :?: ) than other sportsters such as two-stroke snowmobilers.

Eagle's Nest

Post by KC7777 »

Hi,

FYI

The nest is on Hornby Island at a neighbour of my parents.
Expected hatch date is May 1 (plus or minus) a week.
