Windsurfing lessons?

Post by Sns99 »

Hi folks,
I have always wanted to try windsurfing and I'm wondering if anyone out there can offer lessons for a beginner?
It seems all the shops do kiteboarding or SUPing lessons on the island.
I'm based in Victoria but will also be in the Cowichan valley soon.
Cheers,
Suzanne

Nothing official but a few of us keep beginner gear around to help people get started.

It's not the cheapest hobby though, be warned.

If you are willing to make the trip to Squamish, Charlie from https://aerialkiteboarding.com/ does do lessons. He doesn't have any gear so you'd need to bring your own.

I used to be an instructor but don’t have any beginner gear anymore. If you have gear I could possibly do a lesson. I’m based in the Cowichan
