Well that was a long Willows day. Arrived at 12:30pm to what looked like 12-15kts. It wasn't. Went out and schloged for 25 minutes, nope not enough, back in to chat with the beach folks. Chatted with MattyP and some others in the parking lot. Wait, Oh, look some wind, back out and schlogged for 45 mins, not enough, back in. Now I'm really chilly but still waiting for the wind with Danno and GregCan, also known as toe-side-Joe. Watched Twizz unicycle practicing for the circus. Most dudes left trying to sacrifice for the wind gods. Well, finally that worked and the last 3 of us, Danno, Toe-side-Joe and I headed out on big gear 6's. Well, we lasted 10 mins until wind had picked up to 20+kts so came in and grabbed the 4.5m and back out for another 1 hour+ in windy and wavy conditions with lots more dudes including my platonic friend ULR coming out to play. Wind started to lessen so I came in and called it a long day. As I was leaving everyone except ULR was down and not foiling. Straight home for an Ice Cold Corona and watch some more Trump stupidity on the news.
