    Arrived to lots of wind, Twizz and TunaCan out playing a little follow the leader. I would have rigged smaller if I had it but smallest I have is the 4.5m so flattened it out. Went out for 15 mins in 25+kts and the 4.5m was getting ripped from my hands so I came in and tried to flatten in a bit more and pick up my 'new to me' 90 litre KT WingDrifter in hopes of Winging soon. HA! I went out again and it was still 25+ with more in the gusts especially off the point. Soon the wind turned and was blowing almost directly offshore so I thought that wasn't good and started to head in, but all of a sudden the wind died to 0-10kts directly offshore. I tried to schlog back towards shore but wind continued to die down to 0-1kts so I ended up swimming the gear in for the last 50 meters which is better than some doods that looked to be 1km offshore in the same situation. Derigged on Goat Hill and chatted with the fella's about how small everyones boards are now with some doods getting new-to-them boards today too. Late Xmas I guess. Looks like some cold weather foiling in the next couple of days. Time for some gloves.
