Happy New Year! Never Give Up! i was just hanging out at Willows, as I usually do when who to my wondering eyes should appear but The Twizz and his tiny Wing-gear. HAHA! I arrived at 9am to a very quiet Willows Tea Room. GregCan arrived and then The Twizz-master arrived and I rigged 6.0m Sailworks Flyer to ensure foiling. Headed out and it was great with no missed jibes for the first hour. Twizz and GregCan headed for 'Tweezers' but I decided to stay close and enjoy the wind and flat water. I thought wind was getting lighter so was going to come in before it got crazy with NYD dippers, looked back and saw a windline coming in so turned around and headed back out. It was up and down 8-12kts for next hour then the other OG's left and the wind picked up to 10-13kts for last 40 mins going back and forth watching the dippers get in and out quickly. Once they were done, I was done after 3 hours and 57kms, I felt it was Corona-time! Pretty Great 1st session of the year + got a pump workout which means I could double up on the Corona's. HA! Woooo!!
