One word'. Amazing!!! Perfect conditions for me. It was time to really test out my new board along with my new 7.0m Flyer. The wind strength was at the top end of what was comfortable with the 7.0m. If I knew it was that strong I would have rigged the 6.0m. Arrived at boat launch #2 and it was a log jam so drove around and rigged up at boat launch #1. It was straight offshore but no blockage by logs so made it work. Schlogged out 50m to the wind and didn't stop for almost 2 hours. Knew TunaCan was coming so kept watch for him. He all of a sudden appeared and was ripping so fast I couldn't keep up with him so I went and played with the Wasp who was foiling around as well. Did a long run out past Gemmy Jones and they all the way back to Mary Tod. So beautiful to this afternoon, Baker covered in snow with low angle of sunshine making it glow orange. Sailing till sunset off Cattle point is so freakin' beautiful. I was lucky to score it, was working from home when I took a quick peek at BWD there was wind at Discovery and Gonzales and knew that was the magic both sites in their teens so asked if I could leave and got the green light so packed up quick and headed to CP. yup, it was Amazing!! 52kms in under 2 hours is pretty good, 42 out of 43 gybes is pretty good too considering I'm getting used to the new board and loving it.
BOBSON OUT!!
