Choose the sites to display on the Latest Reports page

You can now pick the sites you want to display on the Latest Reports page. On the side menu, select "Set Table Options" then select the sites that you want to display. Then refesh the main page and only the sites you picked should show up (hopefully).
This is all done using cookies (a small file is saved on your computer). So you need to have your browser set to allow cookies.
Please let me know if you have any problems and if it works ok. The first thing I'll do is probably remove Trial Island from my table
Also, if you go to
http://bigwavedave.ca/latest.htm (without the www.) you may have to allow third party cookies in Internet Explorer (Tools->Options->Privacy->Advanced : Override = On, First-Party = Accept, Third-party=Accept, Always Allow Session cookie=On).

Dave, Just a thought: could you set it up so that the default Latest Reports is the subset you've selected but have the complete list available with one button click instead of un-doing the selection?

Thanks for the suggestions. Maybe Cape Mudge...that's if anyone sails up there? I'm not sure it's worth it unless someone speaks up that they would use it. The only drawback is that the more sites I check each hour slows down my program.

So you mean have a check box that you hit that will show all sites and ignore your settings? If you un-check the box it will show only your preferred sites? Yeah, I could do that quite easily, if that's what you mean.
thanks

I'll add Cape Mudge sometime soon. I'm not too sure about removing Comox airport - I've been told that it's a good estimate for kiting at the spit and it's every hour, Lazo is every 3hrs. Maybe someone else can comment if Comox airport is useful or not??

ok ok, you've been told
don't take my word for it ... look for yourself here:
http://www.bigwavedave.ca/gallery/displ ... at=0&pos=0
lazo is situated on a point located on the water, while the airport is up on top of a hill and inland a bit ... which one would you want to rely on?
it's really too bad about the 3 hour updates tho
