or if nature is telling me to take up golf
But in all seriousness, going from 20 knots westerly to 3 knots easterly is a very dangerous, and time consuming fluctuation

I was nicely powered up for most of that session and when I came in it was actually to change boards but I never made it off the beach!
then I saw ya stuck and the yellow zodiac come by but you must have told them you didn't need a ride.
I eventually drove out to Clover and asked a couple if they'd seen ya but sounds like you were picked up!
I had to swim before so its northerly change 1 - Adrian making it back 1!!

I was on a floaty board. But it was still a bit of a handful.
Makes for a difficult climb over the barnacles with a 20lb board complete with 1.5 foot daggers fins.

Yes I was all excited watching the reports and seeing it get windy at work, only to drive home and find it dead at the lagoon! Good paddling weather!

YUP but I won't say that I SUKed
A purebred race board is far more efficient in light air. The fins make a huge difference.
But you need to be prepared to eat S$$t for about a week until you figure out how to ride it.
