Did anyone catch the discussions on the radio(91.3) about Nitinat yesterday at 5pm. Someone called in to talk about windfest. A kiter called in and told everyone to stay away because Nitinat is a private club. then a Youbo resaident called in and reported that Nitinat can only be accessed by 4X4. The radio guy was totally pissed because he got the impression that Nitinat is a members only club and he was trying to help out the Festival image. Nice work !!!!

I caught that discussion.
I dont think he was hinting at a private club, I think he just didnt want everyone and his dog making their way up there.
Anyone that kites or windsurfs knows about nitinat.
Im a fairly new kiter myself, and I already hear ppl talking about how it used to be. A lot of ppl listen to the zone. How long will nitinat still be nitinat if everyone knows about it
I do think it was good to promote windfest though

at 4:25pm this afternoon all will be corrected on the show, I would love to have listened to the bit and what the kiter had to say exactly, also to see if i could recognize the voice,, hmmmmm anybody know who it was?
