VANCOUVER ISLAND WINDTALK

I am a beginner with my own gear...I drastically need lessons. I have water started but its not a habit, wish it was. I up haul mostly and seem to fight the wind all day.....HELP....

I live in Qualicum so lessons pretty well anywhere on the island would work...

Not sure if anyone is giving formal lessons right now, but Nitinat Lake is the place to go for many tips from other sailors (look for windsurfers coming in barely able to carry their rigs and flopping on the beach; avoid those newly arrived with a manic expression, frenzied rigging, and a fixed gaze on the water!) I'd be happy to help but I'm not around for the next month.
