VANCOUVER ISLAND WINDTALK

Hi all. Two adult friends of mine are thinking of coming out to Nitinat this weekend with us. They would love to learn how to windsurf. I have no beginner equipment, and they would like to rent some. Where can you rent / loan equipment? They don't want to have to travel to Vancouver or Victoria to get some. (we are in Nanaimo). Any suggestions?

Coastal Cycle and Watersports in Victoria rents start boards. They also do lessons. Someone from Vic could bring the gear up this weekend. They are on the Colwood strip just over the bridge. Here is the link:
