Airmiles warning

A warning to all airmiles collectors out there. About 8 years ago I figured I might as well start collecting miles on my credit card. These are the "Airmiles" airmiles - not aeroplan or others.
I even got the gold Westjet card a year ago - you can fly anywhere they fly, return for only 1600 miles or so. So, this summer the family of four is flying to Newfoundland, and I have enough miles - woohoo!
BUT, Airmiles tells us they only set aside 2 seats PER DAY for the 1600 Airmile deal from "smaller" airports - like Victoria and Comox. So, our family cannot fly off the island together using this deal. Ever. Period.
We have to get to Vancouver 1st. It is a serious bummer. So, if you are a family of 3 or more, you may want to check with Airmiles before getting excited about your next trip. (if you are using the Westjet 1600 mile deal)
