Maclean's article on floaties ...
There is an article on sewage treatment (or lack of it) in this week's issue of Maclean's. Victoria is featured (not necessarily in a good light). There is a sentence on page 24:
"It begins at Clover Point, a park like grass covered spit used by joggers, Mom's wheeling strollers, and a group of young men fighting a stiff onshore breeze for possession of an improbably large kite."
Sounds like some of you kiter guys!

sounds sexist to me.... moms pushing strollers.....group of men kiting.....gee I have been soooo groomed by working for govt, eh?

Maybe the rising warmth of untreated sewage generates a local thermal that explains the great sailing off Dallas Rd?
