Canada Day RB Drone Capture

I was too tired to foil anymore so I tried to see if I could fly my Mini3 in the the middling winds and follow my old guy crew. It seems the Mini didn't have much problems with the occasional 25kt gusts and I managed to keep her dry and whole. Still learning the art of follow cam, but it's hard to really learn it when I'd really rather be foiling. Fun regardless.

That's really cool. Do you have to worry about aviation rules and whatnot or does it depend on the size/weight, flight height etc..?

Hi Keen! I fly a very small UAV, sub 250g, so the foundation rule is , "don't do anything stupid".

The basic rules found here - https://tc.canada.ca/sites/default/file ... _EN_V8.pdf

More in-depth micro-drone rules found here. https://tc.canada.ca/en/aviation/drone- ... -operation

One interesting limitation is that it's prohibited to take off/land in CRD and Provincial Parks. For RB, I took off/landed from the roadside.

It's a pretty cool tool!

Awesome swell you guys have down there. Slick rider, you need a faster foil.
