First trip to Vancouver Island

Hallo my name is Andy and i am from Germany. In two weeks i go to a trip to Canada to Vancouver Island and now i have some questions.
Where is there a good place for windsurfing ?
What I need for sailes and boards there?

call me Andy when you get here, I speak the Muttersprache and will direct you.
Du brauchst zwischen 4.5 bis 7 quadratmeter Segel, ein Slalom Brett so aehnlich wie fuer den Garda See, vielleicht ein bisschen besser. Das Mehr ist auch tauglich um die Zeit aber ein Wellenbrett mit aehnlicher segelstaeke waere gut. In Victoria gibt es zwei gute Plaetze fuer den Westwind, Kook Strasse oder an der Kueste. Sonst fahren die meisten an den Nitinat See, der liegt westlich von Duncan, ungefaehr 2.5 stunden Fahrt (1 stunde auf Schotterstrasse von Victoria entfernt oder aber dem Nimpkish See der im norden der Insel liegt (groessere Wellen aber nicht garantier wie Nitinat, wenn die Sonne scheint). die nummer mit Vorwahl in BC ist in der privaten Nachricht, ruf ruhig an.

yes
in fact the verb form is used for decribing passing wind...."to let one drive" = "lass einen fahren" which of course refers to letting one rip, ha! Very good Mattdog, didn't know you were a linguist.....and yes, you can play with that word too....

able to set you up with gear if needed. Transportation to the lake, Victoria, Tofino, Nimkish, If you and a friend would like to tour around the island with a guide and eat all of the seas finest seafood.Camping gear is included, And why not learn to kite at the same time.
