Forget the 44" stuff, that's from 2018.
Where the foil mast is located is irrelevant. Put your front footstrap where you want it, definitely inboard to start and lose the back footrap altogether, your back foot should be scooching around for balance and to adjust pressure. Back footstrap is only used for pinching up wind. Back foot is usually centered ish on the board on a broad reach.
Cnter the front foil between your feet and adjust from there to try to get even foot pressure.
2000 is a big slow lifty foil. Get into some higher aspect foils for light winds,(slingshot ptm926, sabfoil, f4) You'll need to pump them as they won't just elevate you like a giant wing. Higher architect foils will glide through lulls.
Once your foil is balanced don't move it when you change sails, Instead push the sail mast base forward for larger sails. Back for smaller.
Use your 80cm mast it'll give more recovery time. Most use 90+ for windfoil. Use your long fuse. About 90+- is good for windfoil. Shorter for wingfoil.
