So for us wave wannabes, what do you do next in this situation? You can't slip over the shoulder out the back since its closed out, trying to cross the whitewater clew-first or while flipping seems unlikely to succeed. Do you forget the top turn and just try and get some distance in front so you can jibe?

Notice there's a couple feet high of nice green water wave right in front of the section that's breaking (in front his/her mast) - bank off that, right in the edge of the white water, and ride out front to jibe - see how quickly it moderates down by looking at the wave in front. OR ... bank hard into the white water and ride it in sideways!!! It can't hurt you

or just Goiter over the whitewater and exit out the back. Pretty straight forward really.

like looking down a banked race track carve, the sail will whip u around while you shave off the top, then make up some ground going upwind or..... stall, sail flip, pump and pop over the broken wave whitewater and do it again.....but where's the fun in THAT

i just close my eyes and start crying. seems to be working so far

See BWD's one-handed goiter over the whitewater a few shots back - totally straight-forward!
