Doesn't look much better end-on, Kus! Thats the kind of stuff that North Sea ferry sank in when the doors didn't shut properly I think!

The 'Herald of free enterprise' had "Visor" bow doors that opened below the water line. The Wash ferry above has 'freeing ports' to allow the water on deck to escape, you can see it gushing out @ 3 ports. I imagine this caused some vehicle damage however !!!

Visor doors on the Herald did not open below the waterline, sorry, but they were close to the waterline, like the visor doors on the Queen of the North (not that had anything to do with that sinking)
