Maybe a baby great White???...did the shark die, and if so what did they do with the body???

its a small salmon shark. My son Reece and another surfer helped back through the surf. Apparently it beached itself later at McKenzie beach,..not sure if it survivied.

That looks pretty scary..I would hate to see that little guys mum or dad. It certainly resembles the shape of a great white..just kind of miniaturised.
