Millennia Research Limited is an innovative archaeological and heritage resources consulting firm located in Victoria, BC. Since 1984, we have been committed to our clients and First Nations, as well as the investigation, preservation, and protection of the archaeological record. We seek to develop long-term working relationships with First Nations and clients, and to provide opportunities for meaningful First Nation participation in archaeological projects We strive to generate products which contribute to our understanding of the past, and to share this information as freely as possible with concerned individuals and organizations.
Millennia recognizes that we are based in lək̓ʷəŋən traditional and ancestral territory. As archaeologists and GIS specialists, we study the interconnections between people, material culture, land, and place within the traditional and ancestral territories of many First Peoples. We gratefully acknowledge the Indigenous communities with whom we work, the living heritage of these communities, and the cultural legacy that has been shared with us.
